04 / RTU / PLC / EMS / SCADA

Individual assets.
One coherent system.

We design the control and communication links between generation, storage, metering and supervisory systems—from the signal list to verification of the real plant response.

SERVICE SCOPE

Moving data is not enough.

The design must define what each signal means, which system owns it and how the plant behaves when a command changes or communication is lost.

01

Control concept

Architecture, system responsibilities and command priorities.

02

Communication interfaces

Signal lists, data maps and integration for the selected equipment.

03

Control and operating states

Active and reactive power control, limits and fault behaviour.

04

Visualisation and testing

Operating overview, events and end-to-end functional tests.

WHAT TO PREPARE

Inputs for a useful start.

  • Plant and system architecture
  • Protocols and data maps
  • Dispatcher or aggregator requirements
  • Operating and fault-state description

WHAT WE DELIVER

An output you can use.

A functional description, signal list, system settings and verification record.

Supported protocols, control ranges and supervisory interfaces are confirmed against the actual hardware and project scope.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

Questions we are
often asked.

Can equipment from different manufacturers be integrated?

We first verify the available interfaces and documentation, then define the integration method and its limitations.

Do you design behaviour for communication loss?

Yes. Safe states, timeouts and recovery behaviour are part of the functional design.

Can you connect to an existing SCADA system?

Yes, subject to its documentation and access options. We retain existing infrastructure wherever it meets the project requirements.

START WITH THE BRIEF

What should your
project achieve?

Tell us the asset type, project stage and the outcome you need. We will start from there.
